1. Carbon dioxide is a compressed liquefied gas or a white solid (dry ice, flakes, or cubes) at low temperatures. At 5.07 MPa (50 atmospheres), it can be compressed into a colorless liquid with a relative density of 1.101 (-37 ºC), a sublimation point of -78.5 ºC, and a melting point of -56.5 ºC (5.2 × 105Pa). When liquid carbon dioxide is cooled to -21.1 ºC and the pressure is 0.415 MPa, solid carbon dioxide (called dry ice carbon) is generated, with a relative density of 1.56 (-79 ºC). Soluble in water, gas carbon dioxide has a solubility of 171.3g/cm3 in water (0 ºC), and the aqueous solution is acidic. Under normal conditions, carbon dioxide has stable properties and decomposes into carbon monoxide and oxygen at high temperatures. It is acidic when coexisting with trace amounts of water.
2. The maximum allowable concentration is not specified, and gas masks must be worn during operation. Easy to dissolve in water, 1 volume of water can dissolve 1 volume of carbon dioxide gas at room temperature and pressure. When the concentration is low, it is harmless to the human body, but when the concentration exceeds 20g/kg, it will accelerate breathing. When the concentration increases to 250g/kg, it can cause death.
In China, we fill gas use customer old cylinders, and if we exporting, we must use new gas cylinder.
